Wow, that's a mouthful! I have only heard of a couple of these and my grandmother had quirky little terms for everything. I still make the kids giggle with many of my little family sayings. I still use them because they fit and describe the circumstance better than anything else. Interesting how so many of these have fallen by the way.

It's an ongoing process. Words fade away as other words fade in. People usually don't notice the missing words until they are gone. I didn't recognize one single one, and I'm older than all of you. I found them very interesting but too unrecognizable to be useful.
